Soundance Inc. is a mulli-faceted arts organization that supplies a variety of Arts-In-Education programs for NYC Public Schools. Soundance also curates several showcases of independent choreography, including the annual "Winterlight" and "Splendor of Desire", as well as upcoming live music and dance showcases and an improvisation festival.

Soundance is also the home of Vanessa Paige Dance, which has performed highly acclaimed group and solo dances throughout NYC and abroad.

VANESSA PAIGE SWANSON is the Artistic/Executive Director of Soundance Inc., a not-for-profit artistic and educational organization.She holds a BA in Dance and English from Hamilton College. Vanessa's choreography has been presented throughout NYC and in various theatres in the UK. Prior to relocating to NYC, she spent 9 years as a full time professional dancer and arts educator for eba Dance Theatre in Albany, performing and teaching throughout the Northeast and in Russia and Turkey. She teaches in a variety of public schools, designs arts-in-education residencies, writes curriculum and trains teachers through Soundance Inc., and is currently on the Faculty of the Berkeley Carroll School in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
